Investing 101 with Raymond Webb on March 16th 3pm @ Pip. Register here
On March 16th at 3pm at the Pipetia campus, we will be hosting Investing 101 with Ryamon Webb, who has come over from the US. This event is designed for everyone, and you require no investing experience, but you will also get stuff out of it if you have done some investing. We highly recommend you get along as this is often dubbed the event of the year. Every Investing 101 event goes above and beyond to cover general life, savings, and career advice, as well as investing- so there’s something for everyone to learn from. Food will be provided, so, please click going here so we can cater for the right numbers. Below is some more info on Raymond.
Raymond is an expatriate New Zealander who has lived and worked in the United States since 1997. Raymond started out in stockbroking as an Operator ("Trader") on the Sydney Stock Exchange trading floor, and went on to roles in Institutional Sales and Research in Australia and New Zealand, ultimately becoming Head of Research at ANZ Securities (NZ) Limited in 1996. In 1997, ANZ Securities transferred him to New York. From 1999 to 2015, Raymond managed an insurance company, pension plan and other portfolios at PICO Holdings, Inc., principally in U.S., Australasian and Swiss small-capitalization value stocks and bonds. In January 2016, Raymond launched his own company, Industrial Equity, LLC, which makes value investments in under-appreciated U.S. stocks and bonds.
