Scholarship, upcoming events and new features coming

We hope you have had a great break and are looking forward to the year ahead. Given we are getting closer to the start of the university year, we thought we would start providing some updates.

So let’s jump in!!

Scholarship

Applications are currently open Rob Cameron Memorial Scholarship for the 2023 academic year.

The scholarship supports an individual who is committed to completing an honours year (or some other form of postgraduate study) in finance, law, or public policy at Te Herenga Waka–Victoria University of Wellington.

Cameron Partners offers an annual scholarship of $20,000 and mentoring from Cameron Partners' staff. In addition to this, INFINZ provides student membership and complimentary attendance at local events and their annual conference (including travel costs).

Please note that applications close on the 18th of February.

Upcoming events

We have lots of events planned, and we will be looking to share more details about these next week. These events will include recruitment events for major firms and our annual Investing 101. If there are any firms you would like to hear from or events you would like, please let us know.

Additionally, we will have some roles available in the club and newsletter. We will also open applications to be involved in the student investment fund or in the analyst apprenticeship programme in the first couple of weeks of university.

New features

From next week will be launching our job board which will include links to jobs we think you will be interested in. It would be great to get your feedback on what you would like to be included.

Additionally, we will be launching club merchandise very soon.
